I am so happy right now, I've passed my illustration degree with a 2:1!

In celebration of this I will be hosting a free art stream next week (probably on a Friday evening). I really do hope people will come watch, take part and have a good chat. If people could let me know they're interested that would be lovely :3

This is going out to anyone who a musician, and are in the process of wanting some album artwork, disc design, poster work etc designing for a low budget, or maybe even free!

I've been tasked in my third year to come up with some more self-initiated projects and I want to take a look at into Music Illustration, and what would be great for my portfolio is if I could illustrate designs for a client to put in my portfolio. Which is a win/win situation for us both. You get the needed art for your album, and I get good portfolio work.

If you're interested please feel free to note me, or if you know any musicians who may want to take up this offer, please send them my way. I aim to provide a close contact basis with the client, showing my working processes and ideas so that the final product is the right product.

After years of sitting around the comic is about to come underway with it's first 30 pages!

Over the years I've watched a number of werewolf films and read a number of books, yet the werewolves are never up to my liking or standard. And a part of this project is to fill this unfilled void in the werewolf market.

But I've been wondering, and I'd like to extend this question to you. What would you like to see from a werewolf comic?

I fancy treating myself to some art but I don't really know who to commission or where to look. Would prefer human artists over animal but either will do. Comment or note me if you want a chance to be commissioned or know someone who is open for commission.

Comment away!

Edit: I should have mentioned this before and it's really unfair of me to say it now, but I really am not interested in commissioning images in a Japanese Anime Manga art style or as what I call "Tumblr" style. I have nothing against said styles or origins of which, I've watched/read a fair bit of anime/manga myself, it's just when I commission somebody I want a uniqueness to it. A lot of the stuff I have seen has been rather similar.

As to those who already know about my journal about making a batch file for the SAI autosave.exe
How to~ SAI Autosave and Batch File*Disclaimer - I am not the original creator of the script, all credit goes to Aiffe on Tumblr*
http://aiffe.tumblr.com/post/71936328207/autosave-script-for-paint-tool-sai

I'm pretty sure a lot of people get the biggest peeves when SAI crashes on them and then loosing all progress when you've forgotten to save, well look no further the answer is here.
The script itself is easy enough, it's just an .exe file that must be ran after SAI has been opened. The autosave saves progress after every minute only when SAI is in focus on the screen. (e.g I'm using SAI then I look at something on Google chrome for ten minutes. SAI will not save during those 10 minutes and will begin to autosave again when I look back at SAI.)
After you quit SAI the autosave script will still run for a minute before quitting itself so if you re-open SAI you will need to re-run the script as well.
EDIT (4th November 2021): Download the autosave.exe here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0kTdcq

I have decided to have a go at creating new scripts with altered times. The original autosave.exe posted by Aiffe on Tumblr ( aiffe.tumblr.com/post/71936328… ) saves at one minute intervals. For me this was rather annoying as the script blocks keyboard and mouse input every minute whilst it autosaves. Whilst it only effects me for a second everytime it can often put me off my drawing groove. (-Insert Kuzco here.-)

I have created four new variations of the autosave for 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes respectfully. I however require some testers to see if the scripts work. All four .exe files can be found at the link below.

Link: drive.google.com/folderview?id…

*Please be aware the autosave.exe will only save when Paint Tool SAI is the active application on your desktop.*

Instructions:

1. Open both SAI and the autosave.exe files.
2. Create a new document on SAI and save it. This then allows the autosave to save your file.
3. Draw to your hearts content.
4. Check after 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes to see if the document has saved.
5. Comment or note me whether or not the script worked.
